This course prepares CTE and Work-based Learning students in Healthcare Pathways for a transformative role as Augmented Clinicians. By leveraging AI technology, students enhance clinical efficiency and improve patient outcomes while addressing issues of burnout. The curriculum covers human anatomy connections, hands-on prototyping, and comprehensive clinical risk assessment utilizing the Confusion Matrix. Additionally, students will learn to apply HIPAA and FDA regulations related to ethical workflow automation, culminating in a professional career portfolio that certifies them as informed and ethical partners in future healthcare settings.
